Mr. Keele enjoyed PE today!

Save the date: FCCLA Movie Night — Sunday, October 26th at 7:00 pm. See you there!

Tonight's FB schedule in Rankin
JH Black Team 4:30
JH Red Team 5:30
JV 7:00
The schedule sent out Sunday had the Black and Red teams switched. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience that causes anyone.
We're kicking off the morning with two bus ticket earners! Congratulations Abraham and Aylani!

The GC Bearkats would like to show our appreciation to our local first responders prior to Friday night's football game.

This Friday’s pep rally theme is Rock ’n’ Roll—grab your leather jackets, band tees, and shades as we cheer on our Bearkats!

Here we come, Regionals!
Our girls’ team is your District Champion, and our boys' team earned 2nd place, missing the district title by just two points.
It’s a great day to be a Bearkat!

We’re proud to recognize Addi Goodwin as our FCCLA Student of the Month! 🌟 Thank you for your hard work, positive attitude, and contributions to our FCCLA chapter.

This morning our National Honor Society members hopped on The Energy Bus and took the wheel for our elementary morning meeting. They taught everyone, from our tiniest Pre-K Bearkats to our cool 5th graders, about the rule “Drive Your Bus with Positive Energy.”
Smiles, kindness, and courage are the fuel to keep our buses rolling strong, and our NHS leaders reminded the younger kids that they are the drivers of their own day.
Proud of these big kids for modeling leadership, positivity, and heart, and for helping the whole school start the morning on the right road. 🚌💛 #BearkatEnergy #OnTheBus

Tomorrow is Where Are You Going Wednesday! Wear your favorite secondary or Bearkat SWAG to support! Our cross country team starts district tomorrow!

🎉 Culinary Arts Students Shine at the Taste of the Permian Basin — Two Years in a Row! 🎉
Our Culinary Arts students once again represented our school and program with excellence at this year’s Taste of the Permian Basin event, held at the Horseshoe Pavilion! Over 400 guests attended the event, which featured restaurants and culinary programs from across the region.
With this year’s Texas theme, our students created and served a mouthwatering menu featuring:
🌶️ Main Dish: Texas Chili served in Sweet Cornbread Muffin cups, garnished with shredded cheese and fresh jalapeño
🔥 Appetizer: Sausage slices in House-Made Bearkat BBQ Sauce
🍓 Desserts: Mini Strawberry Shortcake Parfaits and Tiny Crème Brûlée Tarts topped with candied pecans from Dieringer Farms
Our students didn’t just cook — they also decorated, set up, served, and interacted with guests throughout the evening, proudly sharing information about our Culinary Arts program and school district. Their professionalism, teamwork, and enthusiasm truly stood out!
A special highlight of the night came when Sara Garvin and Fabiola DeLuna created a stunning western-themed cake, which sold for $200 in the auction to raise scholarships for culinary students. 🎂🤠
We are so proud to share that several participating restaurants were so impressed with our students’ skills and hospitality that they expressed interest in hiring them on the spot! 👏
💛 Congratulations to our talented Culinary Arts students for another successful year representing our program and community with excellence and Bearkat pride!
