Parents: Action Needed for the 2025–2026 School Year!
New state requirements (SB12) mean parents must now give permission for certain school services.
Three quick forms will be coming home with your child this week:
1. Student Clubs – Parents must provide written consent before students can participate in any school-sponsored clubs.
2. Health Services – Nurses now require parent permission for care such as first aid, health checks, and screenings (except in emergencies).
3. Counseling & Support Services – Parent consent is required before students can take part in guidance lessons, goal-setting, or short-term support services.
Thank you for completing and returning these forms as soon as possible.
Proud Superintendent,
Mallory Marr

On Tuesday, August 20th, Hunt ISD will welcome students back, a day made even more meaningful after the tragic flooding their community faced this summer.
Their resilience and dedication are inspiring. Let’s show our support by “loving our passengers,” just like in The Energy Bus to remind Hunt ISD they are not alone and that we are riding alongside them. Together, let’s send our best to Hunt ISD as they welcome their students with hope and strength.

Safety is our number one priority!
