Katie, Ivy, and Tatum all competed at the Heart O’ Texas Fair today in Waco, TX. There were 135 prepared public speakers and Tatum and Ivy were both in the top 18 finalists. Ivy finished 9th in the whole contest! Let’s congratulate these students!

We had three GC FFA members participate in the Tri-State Fair Public Speaking contest today in Amarillo. In a contest with 30 contestants, Ivy, Tatum, and Katie all made the finals! Tatum won the contest!

Yesterday, 21 dino-mite students from our FCCLA chapter stomped their way to the Fall Leadership Workshop in San Angelo — and let’s just say, they were nothing short of tricera-top notch!
They rotated through four prehistoric power sessions titled Lead, Engage, Implement, and Serve — and these workshops were roaring with energy and inspiration! 🦕
But wait... it gets even jurassic-ly better...
Our very own legendary Regional Officers, Landry Dieringer and Holley Stiles, dino-soared above and beyond by leading TWO of the workshops themselves! That’s right — they weren’t just attending, they were rex-ecuting the sessions like true leaders!

Our kindergartners became scientists last week, building and erupting their very own volcanoes in the lab!








Today we celebrate IT Professional Day—the problem-solver, troubleshooter, and tech expert who keeps our school connected. We appreciate your dedication and hard work, Mr. Lewis!
