Glasscock County FFA Members were up early as they competed at the Area 2 LDE Contest! We had 33 students compete in 11 different events. Members showed out as we were top 5 in six of these events! In addition, 3 teams were Area Runners up and qualified for the State Contest! Here are the results:

Garden City seniors were provided a unique tour of the South Plains College Campus today in Levelland where they were able to see much of the campus including dorms, the automotive, welding, allied health, cosmetology departments, & various features around campus, included an art exhibit by Mrs. Fryar’s own brother, Matt Rush.

Monday night members of our FCCLA & Culinary classes volunteered at the HEB Feast of Sharing Event in Big Spring. They served hundreds, if not thousands, of people a Thanksgiving meal with a smile!
We received many compliments for the way our students looked for what needed to be done, jumped right in to every task, and never sat idle for the entire event. Many times we were told they could not have done it without them!
Beyond proud of the difference these Bearkats enjoy making for everyone they meet!

Glasscock County FFA Members had a big day today as 47 students competed at the El Rancho District LDE Contest! We had a great day as 33 of our students will be advancing to area contests. We had 7 district champion teams, 4 district runner ups, 3 teams who finished 3rd place, and a couple teams who also finished well! All first and second place teams will advance to area!
