Coming soon to GCISD!

Garden City Theater Camp 2024 is fast approaching! While pre-registration is not required, it would be helpful for planning! All students who have completed kindergarten are welcome! Students who do not want to be on stage are still welcome at camp to learn the ins and outs of backstage work! Camp will be from 1-5pm each day with registration taking place from 12:30-1 on Monday. The camp performance of "Lost in the Blue" will take place on Friday, July 26th at 6pm. We can't wait to watch the theater program grow at GCISD! Hope to see you all at camp!

We are proud and excited for Walton! He will serve the 177,000 Texas FFA members as the 2024-25 Area 2 State Vice President. He is one of twelve students from across the state to be selected to a state officer position. What an honor!

Congratulations to these senior students for receiving these UIL-TLIF Scholarships.
Christopher Dyer - Abell-Hanger - $8000, $2000 per semester for 2 years
Skyler Garcia - Houston Endowment, $1000
Briana Halfmann - Abell-Hanger - $8000, $2000 per semester for 2 years.
In order to qualify, students must compete at the State UIL Meet at least 1 year of their high school career. Congratulations again to these students!!

We will have a "Parents Group", as well as a Team Page for each sport. We are in the process of setting up the teams, but the Parent Group is ready! You will also be able to sign-up for each sport so you may see any news and updates that we have for the athletes.
We are looking forward to the upcoming school year, and we are excited to get SportsYou rolling for all of you!
