GC FFA is taking over Houston! Tatum and Ivy both competed in the Public Speaking contest, and Ivy placed 18th out of 125 competitors — an incredible accomplishment! Next up, we’ll have several student projects on display at the Houston Ag Mechanics Show. We’re proud of the hard work and dedication our students continue to show. It’s a great day to be a Bearkat!

Congrats Trevor! Competed at Regional Powerlifting this weekend in Post, TX. Placed 10th in Region! Great pic of Dad hyping up son, while Coach Bozeman looks on. Lots of early mornings, great job guys!

GC Powerlifting - Sophomore Trevor Garcia represented GC at the Regional Powerlifting Meet, lifting an impressive 440-pound total in the 114-pound weight class! We are proud of you, Trevor! Way to represent GC with strength and determination!

Robert Lee Track Meet Boys Champions! Girls team 3rd place in a tight race. Congrats to Miles C., breaking school record in 100 meter dash with a blazing 10.71 seconds! Great day for GC Track and Field.

Bearkat Tennis at Reagan County! Great two days of tennis against great competition. Runner up JV girls doubles team and Varsity tourney mixed doubles champions! Way to go Kats!

Yesterday 5th grade spent some much needed time outside of the classroom, utilizing manipulatives to construct rectangles and rectangular prisms, deepening our understanding of perimeter, area and volume!

Did you know that all seniors and a few juniors serve on our Superintendent Ambassador teams? These student leaders focus on culture, instruction, and construction to help strengthen our district.

Our Culture Group has met three times this year, and at the most recent meeting they focused on staff morale. They shared how much they appreciate our staff and their hard work and wanted to treat them as a small way to say thank you.

We are proud to elevate student voice, invest in future leaders, and celebrate the incredible staff who make the Garden so special.

It’s Official! At last night’s board meeting, the School Board officially approved the 2026–2027 School Calendar! We appreciate the time and thoughtful consideration that went into planning a calendar that supports our students, staff, and families.
