Jr High Golf wrapped up yesterday. We had a tournament on Thursday in Iraan. We also had a tournament yesterday in Big Lake. This is a great opportunity to get kids started and see if this is a sport they would like to play in High School.

The Garden City Tennis Team competed in their last invitational meet at Levelland. The team finished second on team points and earned a team title. There were 11 schools at this meet including the following: Levelland JV, Snyder JV, Abernathy, Morton, Patton Springs, Plains, Seagraves, Slaton, Southland, and SPCHEA.

This past weekend GCISD was represented at the State FCCLA Competition in Dallas by Masyn Dieringer and Holley Stiles. Both young ladies competed very well! Masyn placed 5th in "Toys that Teach" and Holley competed against 15 other competitors but was just out of the Top 5! Congratulations to these young ladies and their FCCLA Sponsor Ashley Sissel!
There will be an information meeting on Monday April 22,2024 for all Juniors and at least one parent for the Washington DC trip May 26-30, 2024. Meeting is in GCISD Library at 5:00pm
