This week, GCISD will be closed for Thanksgiving break. Classes will resume at normal time on Monday, November 28th.
GC FFA had a big day as 31 students competed across 12 different events at the Area 2 FFA contest vying for a place at the state LDEs. It is an accomplishment to qualify for the area contest. All students represented GC very well and we are proud of each of them! Here are the results:

It’s time to spread some Holiday Cheer! The school has created an Angel Tree! The tree is created from LOCAL CHILDREN that are in need in our community. If you would like to adopt a child or donate money to the cause this season please contact the elementary counselor, Tiffany Parker at 432-242-1022 ext. 130 or email tparker@gckats.net by December 4th.
GC FFA had a busy day yesterday as the FFA officers handed out gifts to the Wounded Warriors as they passed through and our floral students completed their November Floral Arrangements!
Mrs McKinnon and the rest of the cafeteria staff have the cafeteria all ready for Thanksgiving today. They do a fantastic job every year of creating not only a wonderful meal, but amazing memories for our students, staff and community.
