The Garden City One Act Play will be competing at Bi-District on Wednesday, March 27th, in Santa Anna. Shows begin at 1:00pm and will run back to back. Garden City is the 5th show of the day and will be taking the stage sometime between 4:30 and 5:00. Come out and support these kiddos who have been working countless hours to bring the comedy of Ken Ludwig's LEND ME A TENOR to life.

The Garden City One Act Play performed at the District 11A One Act Play Contest on Wednesday, March 20th. After their outstanding performance of Ken Ludwig's LEND ME A TENOR, they were selected as an advancing play. Many of the cast members were selected for individual awards. The crew also received individual and group awards. This group of students has put in countless hours of rehearsal time on Sundays and after all of their other numerous extracurricular activities. They are to be commended on their achievement. It has been over 10 years since Garden City has had a play advance out of District to Bi-District. Great Job, OAP! Continue to break legs! Glasscock County FFA members competed well today at the Cisco College CDE Invitational! This was several students first contest of the season! Cotton- 4th out of 26 teams FBM- 5th place (Ivy Braden top individual) Vet Science- 24th out of 48 teams Horse Judging- 14th out of 62 teams Entomology- 11th out of 25 teams Milk Quality- 22nd Let's keep up the good work!

The Bearkats and Lady Kats competed in the first round of district golf today at Bentwood Country Club. The boys are in 2nd place behind Robert Lee's A team. Karson Lowery is in 5th as an Individual and Walton Marshall is in 6th. The girl's team is winning the tournament by 38 strokes ahead of Veribest and 60 ahead of Robert Lee who is in 3rd place. Rylee Wood is winning the tournament as an individual shooting an 82. Briana Halfmann is in 3rd and Keegan Batla is in 5th place. The 2nd round is next Monday at Quicksand Golf Course.

The Lady Kat traveled to San Angelo to play in the Veribest Tournament held at Quicksand Golf Course. Rylee Wood shot 85 to win the tournament. Keegan finished 4th shooting a 95. The team finished 2nd overall. The girls wanted to continue wearing the Blue Ribbon in support of Hutton
