Several GC FFA members competed in their first CDE of the season as they competed in the Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo Judging Contests. Members found success in all their contests!

* Farm Business Management- Second Place team (Ivy Braden- High Ind., Tatum Braden- 3rd Place)
* Entomology- Third Place team
* Milk Quality- Fourth Place team

The Bearkats and Lady Kats competed in the Bearkat Shootout Golf Tournament at Bentwood Country Club. Unfortunately, the Lady Kats did not have a team but played very well. Rylee Wood shot an 80 and won the tournament by 4 strokes. Briana Halfmann shot a 96 and finished 5th. Keegan Batla finished 6th with a 103.
The Bearkats finished 6th overall as a team. Karson Lowery lead the Bearkats shooting 95 and finishing 21st.
Glasscock County FFA members have been showcasing their hard work for the last few days at the San Antonio Ag Mech Show. We had 15 students showcase 12 projects.
All 12 projects were blue ribbon projects!
In Addition, 3 projects placed in their classes and received prizes!
* Mara Fuchs was 2nd place in her class with her swings
* Katie and Tatum Braden were 4th in their class with their farrowing crate
* Evan Fuchs was 4th in his class with his Gooseneck Trailer
