Get ready for MORE COWBELL! The Student Council silent auction for the handmade cowbells will close 15 minutes after the conclusion of the pep rally. Today’s homecoming parade will begin at 10:15, followed by the pep rally in the gym.

HS Football and XC changes for Nest Week!
Our XC teams will be competing at Christoval on Wednesday, Sept. 25 (not Big Spring on Sat.). JH will still compete in Big Spring on Sat.
Our Varsity Football game at Midland Trinity will kick off at 7:00pm (not 7:30pm).
SNAKE UPDATE:
Please take a moment to visit with your child about what to do if they see a snake.

Senior Class Fundraiser - You can find them at the Homecoming Game and Report card Night. If you would like to purchase a chip directly or make a donation, call me J’Layne Kemp at 806-777-4598.
Drawing will take place after all the chips have been sold.
Five FFA members competed in the Tri-State Fair Public Speaking contest and performed very well!
Ivy, Brylon, and Sydnee were all in the top of their rooms.
Katie and Tatum both made finals (top 8)

Four FFA members competed at the Lorenzo build off on Saturday! Caleb, Sterling, Denton, and Jared were tasked with building a shooting table in under 5 hours.
The students were able to complete the build and competed very well! Super proud of these students for their skill development and motivation to compete!
STUCO has extended the deadline for these awesome Garden City spirit packs. Anyone can purchase one (Staff, Students, Community Members).
The new deadline is Friday, September 27th. Forms can be picked up at the elementary or high school offices.
