Several FFA members will be attending the Texas FFA State Convention next month. Each year, Texas FFA initiates a service project. This year, the service project aims to provide school supplies to students who need it. Glasscock County FFA would like to help with their mission and provide school supply donations. Below is a flyer of the supplies they are requesting. If you would like to donate, you can contact Mr. Hauser at ahauser@gckats.net. We will need to have collected all donations by July 11th at 8:00 a.m.

We had a couple GC FFA members participate in a blacksmithing workshop over last couple days. Brock and Evan each learned the basic principles of blacksmithing and had the chance to make their own projects! We are excited to put our new knowledge to good use!

Glasscock County FFA Members had a great couple of days at the Area 2 FFA Convention! Students competed in Speaking Development Events, Talent, and received banners earned from previous Area Contests. Here are the results!

GC earned the sweepstakes award as the highest ranking school for the collective performance in the speaking events!
Abbie Garza competed in the Talent Contest and won Area! She will advance to the state contest in July!
Brock Braden was elected as an Area Officer and will serve for the next year!
