Area 2 Leadership camp wrapped up over the last two days with recreation, District Officer meetings, and Camp Awards. Walton and Shelby were selected as two of the Top 15 Outstanding campers out of 300 participants. Very proud of the leadership growth of all of our FFA members throughout camp!

Several FFA members will be attending the Texas FFA State Convention next month. Each year, Texas FFA initiates a service project. This year, the service project aims to provide school supplies to students who need it. Glasscock County FFA would like to help with their mission and provide school supply donations. Below is a flyer of the supplies they are requesting. If you would like to donate, you can contact Mr. Hauser at ahauser@gckats.net. We will need to have collected all donations by July 11th at 8:00 a.m.

We had a couple GC FFA members participate in a blacksmithing workshop over last couple days. Brock and Evan each learned the basic principles of blacksmithing and had the chance to make their own projects! We are excited to put our new knowledge to good use!
