III. Goals:

(1) All students will be encouraged and challenged to meet their full

academic potential.

(2) GCISD will recruit, develop and retain a diverse highly qualified staff.

(3) All systems in GCISD will be effective, efficient and accountable in support of the district’s mission.

(4) Parents will be full partners in the education of their children.

(5) GCISD will provide a safe and disciplined environment conducive to student learning.

(6) GCISD will implement and use technology to increase the effectiveness of student learning, instructional management, staff development and administration.

(7) GCISD faculty will keep abreast of the development of creative and innovative techniques in instruction and administration using those techniques as appropriate to improve student learning.

(8) GCISD will provide a well-balanced and appropriate curriculum to all students.

(9) GCISD faculty and students will demonstrate exemplary performance in comparison to state, national and international standards.

(10) GCISD students will obtain a high school diploma.
