I. Academics- Comments:

1. Outstanding UIL participation

2. Friendlier staff during conferences and phone calls.

3. More in-service on student disabilities.

4. Teach from bell to bell.

5. The whole class should not be punished for 2 students misbehaving.

6. Belittling students during a lesson or tutorials is not a teaching style.

II. Safety- Comments:

1. Program on internet safety was outstanding.

2. Name tags are a good idea.

3. More supervision on the playground.

4. Restrooms need more cleaning.

5. Students are put on the wall during recess for not keeping their shoelaces tied.

III. Transportation- Comments:

1. GCISD provides transportation that is extremely generous.

IV. Lunch Program-Comments:

1. Glad we have a breakfast program.

2. A new floor is needed in the cafeteria.

3. School lunches are very good. People should visit other schools.

1. Would like school to start earlier.

5. The “Personal Touch” of a school like Garden City ic great.

6. So glad we have a nurse. “She is “tops”. I appreciate her emphasis on precaution and education (nutrition, sanitation and exercise).

7. I appreciate the way the school cooperates and works with the community and vice-versa. The school is the heart of this community. Continue to make use of possible extension service programs.

8. Fiscal management by the board and superintendent’s office excellent.
