Glasscock County ISD Board of Trustees

Regular Meeting- July 12, 2010

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with board members Andy Wheeler, Tibby Niehues, Kevin Hirt, Douglas Schaefer, Douglas Jost and Carl Hoelscher present. Absent was Nathan Halfmann. Others present were Mary Jo Cope and Nancy Hillger.

Kevin Hirt made the motion to pay bills, seconded by Carl Hoelscher. CU.

Carl Hoelscher made the motion to approve tax refund from Appraisal district, seconded by Tibby Niehues. CU.

Tibby Niehues made the motion to accept bids as presented, seconded by Kevin Hirt. CU.

Douglas Schaefer made the motion to approve internet filter as per District Plan, seconded by Douglas Jost. CU.

Douglas Jost made the motion to approve student handbook and code conduct as presented, seconded by Douglas Schaefer. CU.

Tibby Niehues made the motion to accept teachers handbook as presented, seconded by Kevin Hirt. CU.

The board went into closed session at 7:50 p.m. – out at 8:28 p.m.

Andy Wheeler made the motion to approve Tracye Spencer , academic counselor and testing coordinator , and Kelly Dillard, technology teacher, seconded by Douglas Schaefer. CU.

Carl Hoelscher made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Kevin Hirt. CU.
