SUPERINTENDENT’S JUNE 7, 2010 BOARD REPORT:

The Glasscock County ISD Board of Trustees met in regular session on June 7, 2010 at 7:00 pm. The meeting was called to order by Andy Wheeler. Campus reports were presented by Mr. Ken Hoskins, items discussed/presented:

1. Summer School Calendar

2. Final student numbers, K-12

3. End of the year student awards and achievements.

Superintendent’s report was presented by Steve Long, items discussed/presented:

1. Summer Work Program

2. Discussed bond projects

Action Items Approved:

1. Pay Bills

2. 2010-2011 Transfer students

3. Retainer agreement with Schwartz and Eichelbaum (Inter-Local agreement with Region 18).

4. Shared Services Agreement with Ector County ISD. Deaf student services, if needed.

5. Approve James Barfield as 7-12 Math Teacher.

6. Approve Matt Odom as 7-12 English Teacher/Coach.

7. Approve Tracie Odom as Elementary Teacher.
