SUPERINTENDENT’S JULY 12, 2010 BOARD REPORT:

The Glasscock County ISD Board of Trustees met in regular session on July 12, 2010 at 7:00 pm. The meeting was called to order by Andy Wheeler. Campus reports were presented by Mr. Ken Hoskins and Mr. Randy Gartman, items discussed/presented:

1. Summer Activities and Calendar of events.

2. Projected enrollment.

Superintendent’s report was presented by Steve Long, items discussed/presented:

1. Preliminary Budget figures for 2010-2011.

Action Items Approved:

1. There were no budget amendments.

2. Approved Financial Report and bills.

3. Approved Tax Refund from the County Appraisal District.

4. Approved bids as presented.

5. Approved Internet Filter.

6. Approved Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct.

7. Approved Teacher Handbook.

8. Approved Tracye Spencer as Academic Counselor/Testing Coordinator and Kelli Dillard as Technology Teacher.
